That is the heart of the Gospel; the promise of joy in the morning. Every morning and some bright morning yet to come.
We are derided for believing in "pie in the sky some by and by." I'm OK with that. "The hope of things unseen" is an important part of the Walk and has gotten many a saint through the hard times.

I like it, Derek. Describes my exactl routine each morning. Coffee out on the porch. Just God and me. Observing His creation awaken. Thanking Him for another day. Surely, that is Joy each morning. Thanks for capturing that moment in this poem.
Nice, Derek! Totally Iagree on the writing part, too. My wife and I get up every morning, ride our bicycles two miles to the coffee shop at our church, and spend the next hour in the Word. My days have never gotten off to such a great start. Feeling very blessed :).

What a lovely way to start the day isn’t it?! I’m so glad this hit close to home. Thanks for your continuous support, Cork.
